Orders

CAN I ADD, CHANGE OR DELETE AN ITEM IN MY ORDER AFTER IT IS COMPLETED?
Once your order is placed, it is too late. If you would like to change your order after it has been received, we offer free returns, within the terms of our return policy.

CAN I CANCEL MY ORDER?
Unfortunately, once your order is placed, it is too late to cancel the order. You are welcome to return your order once received. We offer free 30-day returns, within the terms of our return policy.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF BROOKS BROTHERS HAS RECEIVED MY ORDER?
Once your order has been processed, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. The confirmation will contain your order number, order details and shipping address.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN MY ORDER HAS BEEN SHIPPED?
Once your order has been dispatched you will receive a dispatch notification email from our warehouse. This will include your tracking number for your goods.

CAN I MAKE A PURCHASE OVER THE PHONE?
All orders must be placed via brooksbrothers.com.au. If you are having problems ordering online, please don’t hesitate to contact our customer service team for assistance.

Delivery

HOW LONG DOES SHIPPING TAKE?
We make every effort to deliver products within 5 to 10 working days to the address specified by you during the purchase process. For WA, Far North Qld, NT and remote country areas please allow an extra 2 to 3 days for delivery. During peak times and sale periods please also allow an additional 2 to 3 days for your delivery.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEND ITEMS TO WA/NT/RURAL QLD?
Please allow an additional 2-3 business days for goods travelling to WA, Rural QLD and NT.

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
You can track your order by simply entering your tracking number which was supplied in your dispatch notification email.

CAN I HAVE MY ORDER EXPRESS POSTED?
Unfortunately, we do not have express post or overnight shipping available at this stage.

DO YOU SHIP OVERSEAS?
Unfortunately, we only ship to Australian addresses.

No, as a hygiene measure, masks cannot be returned or exchanged.

DRESS SHIRTS VS. SPORT SHIRTS
Dress shirts are typically worn for more formal occasions whereas the sport shirt is more appropriate for casual settings. Other than stylistic differences, there are not many characteristics that differentiate dress shirts and sport shirts.

Dress Shirt

  • More conservative colour palettes

HOW DO I MEASURE MY DRESS SHIRT SIZE?
Don't know your shirt size? No problem! In order to get the best measurements to locate the ideal size for you, kindly follow the measurement steps below.

Neck
Wrap the tape measure around the middle of your neck, over the Adam’s apple, keeping it a bit loose for comfort.

Sleeve Length
Place the beginning of the tape measure in the middle of your back.

  1. Measure to your shoulder

  2. From your shoulder, continue down to your elbow

  3. Finally, down to your wrist

Chest
Wrap the tape measure around the circumference of your chest at the widest point. Stand in a relaxed posture and breathe out.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY NON-IRON SHIRT?
Our non-iron shirts are designed for hassle-free maintenance. When you do need to launder your non-iron dress or sport shirt:

  • Machine wash warm
  • Tumble dry on low
  • Non-chlorine bleach only
  • Remove promptly and hang
  • Steam or iron

These shirts should not be dry-cleaned. The high heat and chemicals used can break down the makeup of the garment causing the shirt to deteriorate and shorten its lifespan.

HOW TO PROPERLY CARE FOR YOUR SUIT, SPORT COAT OR BLAZER
Step 1: Give it a brush-off
Brushing your suit is a very effective method for removing unwanted dust, particles and dirt prior to settling into the fabric. A clothing brush made from natural fibres is the best option.
Step 2: Let it breathe
Instead of hanging in the closet directly after use, your suit should properly ventilate on a valet stand or chair. Fine suits are made from natural fibres, which require the circulation of air to stay fresh. 
Step 3: Beat the heat
The sheen that you might see on the shoulders and lapels of your suit is from over-pressing by careless dry cleaning or at-home ironing attempts. The overexposure to high heat causes the natural fibres to smoothen, thus creating shine. Never iron your suit directly, and be sure to stress low heat when dropping it off at the dry cleaner.
Step 4: Save the club soda for cocktails
The best way to counteract a fresh stain is to immediately blot the surface with a dry white cloth. Using water or club soda only causes the stain to set quicker. Despite the obvious inclination, scrubbing only further damages the fabric. All stubborn stains should be addressed by a dry cleaner.
Step 5: All-season storage
If you reside in an area that has four distinct seasons, it's important to have your suits dry-cleaned prior to storage.
